Explore our open source contributions to the developer community. 14,321 total downloads of our free software tools and libraries.

Our founder, David Berube, has been working closely with the open source community for a long time; he worked on the "AmphetaDesk" project in college, and has since written several books on the Ruby Programming language. He's also contributed code to various open source projects, both inside and outside of Durable Programming; this notably includes the RubyGems project itself.

Why We Build Open Source

At Durable Programming, we believe that open source software is the foundation of modern technology. By sharing our tools, libraries, and frameworks with the developer community, we aim to foster innovation, improve software quality, and give back to the ecosystem that has powered so much of our own success. When you use our open source software, you benefit from our years of production experience and ongoing maintenance.

Get Involved

We welcome contributions from developers of all skill levels. Whether it's submitting a bug report, opening a pull request to add a new feature, or simply improving our documentation, your help is always appreciated. You can find all of our open source projects on our official GitHub repository, where we actively review and merge community contributions.
